4 PNP outputs in an IP67 field module
The 3RK1100-1CQ00-0AA3 is a K60 compact digital output module with four PNP transistor outputs, rated for operation in the field at IP67. It has zero digital inputs — it's a pure output slice for the Siemens ET200pro or similar remote I/O system. Each output is short-circuit protected and the module carries a built-in watchdog that will reset the outputs if the fieldbus communication drops. The yellow LEDs on each socket give a quick visual on output state; the green LED shows auxiliary power is present.
External supply and pinout — get the wiring right
This module needs an external 20–30 VDC auxiliary supply (AUX POWER) for the output circuits, and that supply must be PELV per VDE 0106, protection class III. Don't try to power the outputs from the backplane bus — it won't work. The M12 socket assignments are specific: Socket 5 carries OUT1 on PIN4 and OUT2 on PIN2; Socket 6 carries OUT2 on PIN4; Socket 7 carries OUT3 on PIN4 and OUT4 on PIN2; Socket 8 carries OUT4 on PIN4. Sockets 1–4 are closed and unassigned. PIN5 on every M12 socket connects to the grounding wrist strap in the mounting plate.
Mounting and environment — DIN rail or wall, IP67 sealed
Mounts on standard DIN rail or directly to a wall using the K60 mounting plate (the module ships without the plate — order separately). Dimensions are 60 mm wide, 152 mm high, 29 mm deep — the slim profile fits tight junction boxes. IP67 means the sealed housing and M12 connectors survive washdown and dusty environments. Operating temperature range is -25 to +85 °C; storage from -40 to +85 °C. Shock rated at 15g for 11 ms — fine for machine-mounted applications near vibration sources.
