The Siemens 3RK1105-1BE04-3CA0 is an ASIsafe extended safety monitor in a special version with two enabling circuits and two release circuits. It is designed for safety applications up to Category 4 (EN 954-1), PL e (EN ISO 13849-1), and SIL 3 (IEC 61508). The monitor provides two safety-related output channels, each rated for 3 A at 24 V DC (DC-12/DC-1) and 3 A at 250 V AC (AC-12, 50/60 Hz). Response time is a maximum of 50 ms, which is typical for a monitored safety relay in a light-curtain or e-stop chain.
Width is 45 mm (three modular units), depth 120 mm, height 108 mm. All I/O connections use screw terminals with removable terminal blocks, which simplifies wiring and replacement without disturbing the field wiring.
Control supply and ratings
The control supply is 24 V DC at 1 A. Auxiliary supply options for the AS-Interface bus are 115 V at 0.1 A and 230 V at 0.05 A. The monitor supports the AS-Interface protocol natively.
