The Siemens 3RK1200-0CE02-0AA2 is an AS-Interface standard slave module from the SlimLine S22.5 family, designed for control-cabinet use with IP20 protection. It provides four PNP digital inputs (D0–D3) that read 24 V DC sensors and report their state over the AS-Interface bus. The module draws its sensor supply from the AS-Interface cable, with a total input current limit of 270 mA at 40 °C ambient. An external auxiliary supply (20–30 V DC, PELV) is required to power the output circuits — note that this module has no digital outputs, so that supply powers the internal bus interface and diagnostics.
The 22.5 mm width saves rail space in dense cabinets. Wiring uses screw terminals: accept 1 x (0.5–4) mm² or 2 x (0.5–2.5) mm² solid/stranded, or with end sleeves 1 x (0.5–2.5) mm² or 2 x (0.5–1.5) mm². AWG equivalents: 2 x (20–14). Supports 2- and 3-wire sensor connection. Addressing is set via a front socket; the factory ID/ID2 code is 0/F.
Electrical and environmental limits
Input switching threshold: HIGH ≥ 10 V, LOW ≤ 1.5 mA (signal <1> minimum 5 mA). The sensor supply from AS-Interface is short-circuit and overload protected. Output voltage at 24 V DC is 22–24 V. The module is a standard slave, not a safety slave — no SIL/PL rating on this variant.
