Pinout and Addressing
Each of the four M12 sockets maps two data pins: pin 4 carries the input signal, pin 2 carries the second channel. Socket 1 uses pins 4/2 for IN1 (D0), socket 2 for IN2 (D1), socket 3 for IN3 (D2), socket 4 for IN4 (D3). Pin 5 on every socket is the ground terminal, routed out through a 2.8 x 0.8 mm flat tab sleeve. The module address is set via the front addressing socket; the ID/ID2 code is 0/F.
Mounting and Commissioning
The module ships without a mounting plate. For wall mounting, order the K45 compact module mounting plate separately. Standard rail mounting uses the integral snap-on foot.
