Overview
The 3RK1205-0BQ21-0AA3 is a Siemens ASIsafe compact module K45F LS Type 2 (light sensor) for testing semiconductor outputs. It provides 2 electronic inputs and draws sensor supply directly from the AS-i network, with a maximum current carrying capacity of 200 mA. The module is rated IP67 for harsh environments and mounts on standard rail or wall using a separate mounting plate (3RK1901-2EA00 or 3RK1901-2DA00, ordered separately).
Function & operation
This compact module integrates two electronic inputs for light-sensor testing of semiconductor outputs. The sensor supply is drawn from the AS-i bus, eliminating the need for a separate power feed to the sensor head. The module's front addressing socket allows configuration of the AS-i address, and status is indicated via yellow LEDs for I/O state and a green/red LED for module health. The switching levels are defined as low at 5 V and high at 15 V, with a supply voltage of 31.5 V DC. The module draws 0.005 A from the AS-i line, keeping the bus load low.
Integration & mounting
Three M12 I/O sockets provide the connection points for sensors and actuators. A flat male tab (2.8 mm width) serves as the ground terminal. The module is addressed via the front socket using an AS-i addressing tool.
