The Siemens 3RK1207-3BQ40-0AA3-ZA01 is an AS-Interface compact module K60 analog, providing 2 analog inputs for thermal resistor or resistor measurement — Pt100, Ni100, or 0-600 Ohm range, adjustable. It accepts only 2-wire sensors via two M12 screw-type connectors. Intended for field deployment: IP67 rating means the sealed housing withstands washdown environments, so it mounts directly on a machine frame or conveyor line without an enclosure.
AS-Interface & Auxiliary Power
Powered from the AS-Interface bus at 26.5–31.6 V per the AS-Interface specification, with an additional auxiliary voltage supply (Uaux) at 24–30 V for sensor power. Maximum current draw from the AS-Interface profile conductors is 100 mA at 30 V; the auxiliary supply can deliver up to 500 mA to external sensors. Without the auxiliary infeed, the module draws 46 mA from the bus. The green AS-Interface LED and green AUX PWR LED indicate bus communication and auxiliary supply status respectively; a red FAULT LED signals diagnostics.
Mounting & Connections
Mounts via standard rail or wall mounting using the K60 compact module footprint. The mounting plate 3RK1901-0CA00 must be ordered separately — it is not included. Dimensions: 152 mm height, 60 mm width, 29 mm depth. Inputs and outputs use M12 screw-type terminals (2-conductor connection). The module carries ID code 3 and I/O configuration 7 on the AS-Interface bus. Profile 7.3 with a 50 Hz line filter is configured. The A/D resolution is 16 bits for the analog inputs.
