Solid-state reversing starter for ET 200X motor starters
The Siemens 3RK1300-0AS10-1AA0 is an electronic reversing starter from the SIRIUS EM 300 ERS family, designed for the ET 200X distributed motor starter system. It provides solid-state motor protection and solid-state switching in a reversing configuration, meaning it handles both forward and reverse direction control without electromechanical contactors. The setting range spans 0.6 to 2.18 A, covering motors rated 0.18 to 0.8 kW at 400 V AC-3 duty — the AC-3 rating is the relevant one for squirrel-cage motor starting and stopping under load. A minimum disconnection time of 1 s is built in, which prevents rapid reversing that could stress the driven load.
IP65 enclosure and PROFIBUS DP integration
It mounts within the ET 200X system, which is a distributed I/O and motor starter platform designed for direct machine-mounting, not a control cabinet. The part includes PROFIBUS DP protocol support for bus communication, so it connects to a PROFIBUS DP master for start, stop, direction, and fault feedback without hardwired control wires.
Electrical ratings and short-circuit coordination
Operating voltage is 400 to 500 V AC. The short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) at 400 V is 100 A, and the design of short-circuit protection is fuse-based — the upstream fuse must be coordinated to stay below that 100 A threshold to protect the solid-state output stage. Ambient temperature range during operation is 0 to 55 °C. The part carries equipment marking Q per DIN EN 61346-2, identifying it as a motor starter in the schematic.
