Electronic reversing starter for ET 200X — 0.6…2.18 A, solid-state, IP65
The Siemens 3RK1300-0AS10-1AA1 is an EM 300 ERS electronic reversing starter designed for the ET 200X distributed I/O system. It integrates solid-state motor protection and solid-state switching contacts into a single IP65-rated enclosure, eliminating the need for a separate contactor and overload relay in reversing applications. The setting range spans 0.6 to 2.18 A, covering motors from 0.18 kW up to 0.8 kW at 400 V in AC-3 duty. Operating voltage is 400…500 V AC, and the unit communicates via PROFIBUS DP. It includes a motor brake output rated DC 24 V / 3 A, with a minimum disconnection time of 1 s. The main current circuit connects via tab terminals.
The 0.6…2.18 A setting range is the adjustable full-load current window for the solid-state overload protection. You set it to match the motor nameplate FLA; the solid-state trip curve protects against overload without the thermal lag of a bimetal relay. IP65 enclosure allows direct mounting in washdown or dusty environments — the electronics are sealed against hose-directed water and dust ingress. The 0…55 °C ambient operating range covers most unventilated cabinet and field-mount conditions. The integrated brake output (DC 24 V / 3 A) saves an external brake rectifier or contactor for motors with spring-applied brakes — common on vertical-axis conveyors or gantries. PROFIBUS DP communication means it plugs directly into an ET 200X station without a separate gateway.
Physical integration — dimensions and mounting
The enclosure measures 134 mm deep, 140 mm wide, and 270 mm high. It is designed for the ET 200X system — mounts directly on the ET 200X profile rail or panel, with the 9-pole power connection and PROFIBUS DP bus interface integral to the housing. The IP65 rating means it can be mounted on the machine frame, not just inside a control cabinet.
