The Siemens 3RK1300-0CS01-0AA0 is an EM 300 DS electromechanical direct starter designed for the ET 200X distributed I/O system. It integrates a motor starter and PROFIBUS DP communication in one IP65-rated package, so it mounts directly on the machine frame or conveyor section — no separate control cabinet needed. Setting range is 0.18 to 0.25 A with a bimetal overload relay, protecting a 0.06 kW motor at 400 V AC-3 duty. Fieldbus and connectivity
PROFIBUS DP is onboard, so the starter communicates directly with the controller without an extra gateway. Main current connections use tab terminals — quick to land in the field, no screw terminals to torque. The 9-pole motor feeder and 9-pole power connection mate to the ET 200X backplane. IP65 means the housing and the tab terminals are sealed against washdown and dust ingress.
