The Siemens SIMATIC 3RK1301-0CB10-1AA4 is a reversing motor starter designed for direct-on-line reversing control of three-phase motors.
Mounts by plugging onto a terminal module — no DIN-rail clips, no panel screws. The terminal module carries the main power infeed via screw-type terminals. That means the starter itself swaps without disturbing the power wiring: pull the old unit off, push the new one on. Rated for vertical or horizontal mounting, so you can lay it flat in a shallow enclosure if needed. Dimensions are 290 mm high, 130 mm wide, 150 mm deep — fits a standard 300 mm deep cabinet with room for the wiring duct behind it.
Fieldbus and I/O
Built-in PROFINET and PROFIBUS DP — you don't need a separate communication module. The starter exposes 2 bytes of input data and 2 bytes of output data over the fieldbus, which is enough for start/stop, direction, and feedback status. Two onboard digital inputs can be wired to local pushbuttons or sensors using the control module. No onboard digital outputs — feedback goes over the bus, not hardwired. If you need a local run-permissive relay, you'll add an external output module.
Supply and environment
Runs on 24 V DC nominal, with a tolerance window of 20.4 to 28.8 V. The 24 V supply powers the electronics and the coil; the motor power comes through the terminal module separately. Shock rated at 5g for 11 ms, vibration at 2g — survives the usual conveyor and pump vibration without nuisance trips.
