What you're looking at
The 3RK1304-5LS40-4AA0: Control side runs on 24 V DC, nominal, with a tolerance of 20.4 to 28.8 V, so a standard power supply handles it fine. Communication is dual: PROFINET and PROFIBUS DP are both on board. That means it can plug into either a modern IO controller or an older Profibus line without an extra gateway — useful for a line that's being retrofitted in stages. Physically, it's 150 mm deep, 110 mm wide, 230 mm tall, and mounts with screws. The fastening method is screw fixing, and it'll sit either vertical or horizontal. Ambient operating temp is -25 to +55 °C; storage and transport down to -40 to +70 °C. Pollution degree 3, so it can live in a reasonably dirty environment — think factory floor, not a cleanroom. Sourcing-wise: it's current-production, so no scarce-surplus headaches. We can quote it against your BOM line. Shoot over an RFQ and we'll line it out for you. No need to chase a second-source — this one's still being built.
