Fail-safe reversing starter
The Siemens 3RK1308-0DC00-0CP0 is a SIMATIC fail-safe reversing starter module — a reversing motor starter with integrated safety functions for PROFINET and PROFIBUS networks. It provides 4 bytes of input data and 2 bytes of output data over the fieldbus, with 4 safety-related inputs via the 3DI/LC module.
Plugs into a base unit (not included) and occupies 30 mm of DIN rail width with a depth of 150 mm, making it a slim option for reversing drives in safety-rated circuits. Mounting position can be vertical or horizontal, but derate per the manual when horizontal. Rated for overvoltage category III, pollution degree 2, and withstands 6g / 11 ms shock and 2g vibration up to 500 Hz.
Safety and protection settings
Trip class is adjustable to OFF, 5, or 10, so you can match the thermal protection to the motor's start profile without swapping hardware. Minimum load is 50 % of the smallest adjustable rated current. The safety-related output has a B10d value of 3 400 000 cycles. Safe state is load circuit open; on-delay 35 ms, off-delay 35 to 50 ms.
