SIRIUS reversing starter in an IP65 enclosure
The 3RK1315-6KS41-1AA0 is a SIRIUS reversing motor starter — a self-contained unit that combines a reversing contactor, overload relay, and control electronics in a single IP65 housing, ready for direct machine mounting without a separate panel. It is rated for CLASS 10 overload protection and handles 0.75 kW at 400 V, 750 W at 500 V, 0.7 hp at 460/480 V, and 1 hp at 575/600 V — covering common IEC and NEMA motor frames in a single part.
Supply and fieldbus wiring
The control supply is 24 V DC nominal, accepting 20.4 to 28.8 V DC with a maximum permissible of 31.6 V — the wide tolerance handles voltage dips on a shared 24 V bus without dropping out. Fieldbus connection is AS-Interface via an M12 plug for device addressing; the main circuit connects through a HAN Q4/2 plug per ISO 23570. Four digital inputs are available for local sensors or pushbuttons.
Mounting and environment
The housing measures 294 mm wide, 215 mm high, and 159 mm deep, and is fastened by screw fixing. Mounting can be vertical, horizontal, or flat — the recommended orientation is horizontal for optimal heat dissipation. Rated IP65, the enclosure withstands washdown and dust ingress. Operating temperature range is -25 to +55 °C; storage and transport range is -40 to +70 °C. Vibration resistance is 7 mm / 2g, shock resistance 12g / 11 ms.
