The Siemens 3RK1322-0KS02-0AA1 is a SIRIUS AS-Interface compact direct starter — an IP65-rated, fully self-contained motor start-and-protect package for a single 0.37 kW three-phase motor at 400 V AC-3 duty. It integrates the contactor, bimetal overload relay, short-circuit protection (via circuit-breakers), and AS-i bus communication into one enclosure that mounts directly on the machine frame, not inside a control cabinet.
The setting range of 0.9 to 1.25 A covers small motors — the 0.37 kW AC-3 rating at 400 V is the motor power this starter can switch under full-load starting conditions.
AS-i integration and brake output
This starter communicates over AS-Interface (AS-i) protocol, not PROFIBUS DP, and includes two integrated inputs for local sensors or pushbuttons. It also has a motor brake output rated at 24 V DC / 3 A, which allows direct control of a holding brake on vertical-axis or conveyor drives without an external relay.
