The Siemens 3RK1322-1DS02-1AA1 is an AS-Interface compact reversing starter with electromechanical switching contacts and bimetal motor protection, rated AC-3 at 400 V for 1.1 kW motor loads. It carries a setting range of 2.2 to 3.2 A and a maximum short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) of 50 000 A at 400 V — meaning it can safely clear a bolted fault on a 400 V line without upstream coordination cascading open. Built for IP65-rated environments, the housing withstands washdown and dust ingress directly on the machine frame — no separate control cabinet needed for the motor circuit. It communicates over AS-Interface protocol and includes two integrated inputs plus a motor brake output rated 24 V DC / 3 A for holding brake control on vertical-axis drives.
