Bus integration and control wiring
This starter communicates over AS-interface (AS-i) protocol — no PROFIBUS DP onboard. The bus communication function is built in, so it connects directly to an AS-i network without an extra gateway module. The 9-pole motor outgoing feeder and 9-pole power connection carry the motor cable and the AS-i bus in one harness, which keeps the field wiring tidy. A motor brake output is integrated, rated at 500 V DC / 1 A, so you can control the holding brake on a vertical-axis motor directly from the starter without a separate contactor.
