Trip class and supply flexibility
Trip class is field-selectable among CLASS 5, 10, 15, and 20 — match the thermal curve to the motor's starting duty without swapping the overload block. CLASS 5 for short acceleration times on low-inertia loads; CLASS 20 for high-inertia starts like centrifuges or crushers. AS-Interface protocol is onboard (no PROFIBUS or PROFINET on this variant), so it drops into an AS-i network for discrete I/O and parameter access. Four digital inputs are available at the M12 addressing plug.
Mounts in any orientation — vertical, horizontal, or flat — with screw fixing. The 159 mm depth and 294 mm width fit a standard machine-mount footprint; plan for the HAN Q4/2 main-circuit connector and M12 control plug clearance. Rated IP65, so it withstands hose-down cleaning and airborne dust common in food, beverage, and packaging lines. Shock rated 12g / 11 ms, vibration 7 mm / 2g — solid for machine-mounted duty.
