The overload relay supports selectable trip classes 5, 10, 15, and 20, letting the integrator match the thermal memory to the motor start profile. Class 10 is the default for standard induction motors; Class 20 accommodates high-inertia loads like fans or centrifuges where start time exceeds 10 seconds. The electronic overload provides phase-loss sensitivity and a wide adjustment range, reducing the need for separate thermal relays in the panel.
Mounting and environmental limits for panel integration
The starter measures 159 mm deep by 294 mm wide by 215 mm high and is fastened via screw fixing. Mounting position is flexible — vertical, horizontal, or flat — but the manufacturer recommends horizontal orientation for optimal heat dissipation. Vibration resistance is rated at 7 mm / 2g, shock resistance at 12g / 11 ms, making it suitable for machine-mounted installation on conveyors or packaging equipment.
