The Siemens 3RK1400-1CE00-0AA2 is an AS-Interface standard slave module in the SlimLine S22.5 form factor, carrying 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs. Each channel pair is mapped as IN1/OUT1 through IN4/OUT4. The aggregate output current is capped at 4 A, and the module draws its logic power from the AS-i bus — but the output circuits need a separate 20 to 30 V DC auxiliary supply compliant with VDE 0106 (PELV), protection class III. That external supply is not optional; without it the outputs stay dark.
At 45 mm wide, it packs four I/O pairs into a compact footprint for a control cabinet. The front addressing socket sets the slave ID; the ID/ID2 code is factory-set to 0/F. Signal integrity and protection
