AS-Interface slave with 4 inputs and 4 outputs
The 3RK1400-1CG01-0AA2 is a standard AS-Interface slave module in the SlimLine S22.5 form factor — 45 mm wide, designed for 35 mm DIN rail or wall mounting inside a control cabinet. It provides 4 digital inputs (PNP, 20–30 VDC) and 4 solid-state digital outputs, each configurable for 2- or 3-wire sensors. The aggregate output current is limited to 4 A total across all four outputs, with built-in short-circuit and induction protection. An external auxiliary supply (20–30 VDC, PELV per VDE 0106) powers the output circuits — the AS-Interface bus alone does not supply output current.
Wiring and diagnostics
Terminals accept 2 x (0.25–1.5) mm² solid or stranded wire (AWG 24–16), or 2 x (0.25–1.0) mm² with end sleeves. The spring-loaded connections release with a detachment tool (listed under accessories). Three LED banks report status: green for AS-Interface communication, yellow per-channel I/O state, and red for module faults. A built-in watchdog and front-addressing socket simplify commissioning — the ID/ID2 code is set to 0/F.
