The 3-conductor connection scheme and PNP input circuit match standard 24 V DC sensor and actuator wiring in automated assembly and material-handling lines.
I/O map and QuickStop wiring
The four I/O sockets break out as follows: Socket 1 — PIN 4 is IN1 (D0 / QuickStop1), PIN 2 is IN2 (D1). Socket 2 — PIN 4 is IN3 (D2 / QuickStop2), PIN 2 is IN4 (D3). Sockets 3 and 4 carry the two PNP outputs on PIN 4 — OUT1 (D0) and OUT2 (D1). The sensor supply rails (L+ on PIN 1, L- on PIN 3) and a ground terminal on PIN 5 are shared across all sockets. The switching cycle limit for two 10 W DC motors at 28.8 V and 50 % duty cycle is 55 cycles per minute, with a maximum of 1500 switching operations per hour.
