It packs four PNP digital inputs and one PNP transistor output into a 60 x 152 x 29 mm housing, with a built-in QuickStop function on PIN4 that can drop a motor faster than a standard stop command — critical for hazard zones where coast-to-rest isn't acceptable. Rated for a 20-30 VDC supply, it draws 200 mA at 40 °C ambient and 150 mA at 55 °C. The sensor supply on PIN1 is short-circuit and overload protected, so a failed proximity switch won't take down the whole node.
IP67 and washdown deployment
With an IP67 enclosure rating, this starter handles washdown environments — food processing, beverage lines, car washes — where a standard panel-mounted contactor would fail from moisture ingress. It mounts to a wall using the K60 mounting plate (ordered separately), keeping the electronics sealed and the connections dry.

When controlling a 10 W DC motor at 28.8 V with a 50% duty cycle, the unit is rated for 55 switching operations per minute maximum, and 1500 per hour. That's not a continuous-duty figure — it's a thermal cycling limit. If your application needs faster cycling, you'll need to derate or move to a higher-rated starter.
