What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3RK1402-3CE00-0GE2 is an AS-Interface slimline module with IP20 protection, integrating 4 digital inputs and 4 relay outputs in a 45 mm wide housing. The inputs are PNP-type, rated for 200 mA each, and accept 2- or 3-wire sensors. The relay outputs switch up to 6 A at UC 230 V, making them suitable for direct control of contactors, solenoid valves, or indicator loads without an intermediate interface.
Integration notes for the panel
The 45 mm module width fits standard DIN-rail enclosures; screw terminals accept up to 2.5 mm² conductors. The AS-Interface bus connection uses the integrated profile, so no separate bus coupler is needed for this slave. The relay outputs are electrically isolated from the AS-i network, which simplifies troubleshooting when switching mixed-voltage loads.
