Field-mount AS-Interface rail adapter
The Siemens 3RK1901-0CB00 is a K60 mounting plate that adapts a K60 compact module to standard DIN rail, with IP67 sealing maintained when the module is screw-mounted. It connects via insulation piercing directly onto the AS-Interface flat cable — the yellow data cable and the black 24 V auxiliary cable — so no separate bus tap or M12 connector is needed at the field device.
Deployment context
This plate is for the K60 family of AS-Interface field I/O modules, which sit inside a junction box or on a machine frame. The insulation-piercing method means the cable jacket stays intact — no stripping, no loose conductors — which is the standard practice for AS-Interface drops in automotive body shops and conveyor lines where IP67 is required and vibration can loosen screw terminals.
Temperature and environmental range
Rated for -25 to +85 °C ambient, so it can live inside a non-conditioned electrical enclosure on the factory floor or in a washdown zone as long as the module itself is IP67-rated and the screw-mount seal is intact.
Spare part note
The standard rail adapter alone can be ordered as a separate spare part under order code 3RX1 660-0B, which is useful if the mounting plate is damaged or if you are retrofitting a K60 module that came without the adapter.
