The Siemens 3RK1902-3GC10 is a 7/8" angled socket with a 10-meter polyurethane (PUR) cable, open on one side — a field-wireable connector for sensor/actuator distribution boxes or motor-feed junctions in harsh environments. Five poles carry 8 A per pin maximum at up to 400 V AC/DC, with a surge voltage resistance rated at 3 kV — enough for mixed power-and-signal runs in a 24 VDC or low-voltage AC control circuit. IP67 rating means the mated connector survives washdown, dust, and temporary submersion — common on food-and-bev or outdoor conveyor lines.
Panel-Builder Commissioning Notes
Angled cable outlet routes the cable close to the panel surface. Molded strain relief and a 7/8" thread interlock give a solid mechanical lock; mating cycles are rated at 100, so this is a set-and-forget connection, not a daily-disconnect point. Minimum single-bend radius is 65.25 mm; multiple-bend minimum is 87 mm — plan cable routing accordingly to avoid fatigue fractures over the 5 million bending-cycle life.
