The Siemens 3RK1911-0BW80 is a shielded ECOFAST motor connection cable, unassembled by the meter, supplied in a 100 m length. The cable construction pairs four 2.5 mm² power conductors with four 0.75 mm² control/signal conductors, all under a common shield — a configuration sized for feeding a motor and its feedback or brake circuit through a single cable run.
Cable construction and deployment
The 4 x 2.5 mm² section handles the motor power phases and PE; the 4 x 0.75 mm² section carries auxiliary signals such as a holding brake, temperature sensor (PTC/KTY), or encoder feedback. The overall shield protects against EMI coupling in variable-frequency drive installations — essential when the cable runs alongside power conductors in a cable tray or through a motor junction box. Supplied unassembled by the meter, the 100 m length lets the installer cut to the exact run distance and fit the appropriate ECOFAST connector (sold separately). This avoids the waste of pre-terminated lengths on non-standard distances and allows field routing through existing conduit or cable duct.
