What the cable is for
This is a pre-made power supply cable for Siemens ECOFAST distributed I/O and motor starter systems — the kind you'd run from a central power distribution block out to a remote cabinet or a motor control center on a conveyor line or pump station. The 5 x 4 sqmm conductor cross-section handles the load current for several downstream devices. The HAN Q8/0 connector at one end plugs directly into the ECOFAST bus interface module; the other end is unterminated, so you pull it through cable tray and land it in your own terminal block or junction box.
