What this cable is and where it fits
The Siemens 3RK1911-0CF50 is an ECOFAST power supply cable — 7 conductors of 2.5 mm² each, prefabricated at both ends with HAN Q8/0 connectors (one pin, one socket). It is designed for distributing 24 V DC control power and up to 16 A (per conductor) across a machine or line in the Siemens ECOFAST modular wiring system, which replaces point-to-point hardwiring in control cabinets and junction boxes. The cable is ordered by specifying the exact length between >10 m and <15 m, in steps of 10 cm. That means you commit to a custom-cut assembly — not a standard shelf length — so the lead time reflects a made-to-order cable harness, not a stocked reel.
What the HAN Q8/0 connector means for fit
The HAN Q8/0 is a rectangular industrial connector from the HAN series, rated for 16 A per contact and 400 V. The /0 variant in this cable uses a pin configuration on one end and a socket on the other, so you can daisy-chain multiple ECOFAST drops without needing a separate coupler. The 7-pin layout carries 24 V DC, 0 V DC, and up to five auxiliary signals or PE — typical for distributing power to AS-i gateways, ET 200 remote I/O, or valve terminals in a Siemens ECOFAST system. The 2.5 mm² conductor cross-section is sized for voltage drop over the 10–15 m run at full load. For a 24 V DC system, that matters: at 15 m and 16 A, the drop across 2.5 mm² copper is roughly 3.2 V one-way, so the far-end device still sees above 20 V. If your load is less than 16 A, the margin improves accordingly.
