The Siemens 3RK2200-0CQ22-0AA3 is an AS-Interface field module in the K45 compact form factor, delivering 4 digital PNP inputs across two M12 sockets (2 x 2 inputs). It is an A/B slave with a fixed ID/ID2 code of A/0. Rated IP67, this module lives directly on the machine frame or conveyor line, not in a cabinet. The 45 mm wide housing mounts on standard rail or wall via an optional K45 mounting plate (the module ships without one).
Input specs and wiring reality
Each input channel is PNP, switching high at ≥10 V and drawing a minimum of 6 mA at signal 1, with off-state leakage ≤1.5 mA. The sensor supply (L+ on pin 1, L- on pin 3) is short-circuit and overload protected. The pinout is fixed: socket 1 uses pin 4 for IN1 (D0) and pin 2 for IN2 (D1); socket 2 uses pin 4 for IN3 (D2) and pin 2 for IN4 (D3). Pin 5 on both sockets is the ground terminal, routed out via a flat tab sleeve (2.8 x 0.8 mm form A).
