8-input AS-i slice for wet-area field deployment
The 3RK2200-1DQ00-1AA3: This is a K60 compact digital input module — 8 PNP inputs across 8 M12 sockets, designed for AS-i (Actuator-Sensor Interface) networks where you need IP67-rated I/O right at the machine, not back in a cabinet. The module requires two consecutive AS-i addresses to map all 8 inputs — addresses 1 and 2 cover the first four sockets, with the remaining four sockets on address 2. Plan your address table accordingly; this is not a single-slot slave. Sensor supply is 20-30 VDC fed through PIN 1 of each M12 socket, with common return on PIN 3. The input circuit is PNP — sourcing sensors only; no NPN compatibility here.
IP67, DIN-rail, and the K60 mounting plate
IP67 rating means the module body and M12 sockets survive washdown — suitable for food-and-bev lines, car wash stations, or any wet environment where a panel-mount I/O card would need a sealed enclosure. Mounts on standard DIN rail or via the K60 mounting plate for wall mounting. The module ships without the mounting plate — order separately if you are not using DIN rail. Dimensions are 60 mm wide, 152 mm tall, 29 mm deep — compact enough for a 200 mm junction box. Each M12 socket has a dedicated ground terminal on PIN 5, all tied to the grounding wrist strap in the mounting plate. This keeps shield continuity clean — important when running sensor cables alongside power in the same harness.
