The Siemens 3RK2400-1CT30-0AA3 is an AS-Interface (AS-i) digital I/O module from the K20 family, designed for distributed field mounting. It provides 4 PNP inputs and 4 solid-state outputs, each rated to 2 A maximum at 40 °C ambient, with built-in short-circuit and induction protection. The module requires an AS-i master compliant with Specification 3.0 and supports A/B slave addressing (ID code A/7). An external auxiliary supply (AUX POWER) of 20 to 30 VDC, compliant with VDE 0106 (PELV, protection class III), is mandatory for powering the output circuits — the AS-i bus cable alone cannot drive the outputs.
