AS-Interface Slave for the Control Cabinet
The Siemens 3RK2400-1FG01-0AA1 is an AS-Interface control cabinet module configured as an A/B slave. It provides 4 digital inputs and 3 digital outputs in a compact IP20 housing designed for DIN-rail mounting inside an enclosure. The output stage is rated for 2 A per channel, with the module drawing up to 30 mA from the AS-Interface bus for its own logic supply. This means the outputs can drive small solenoid valves, indicator lamps, or contactor coils directly without an interposing relay — but stay within the 2 A limit per point and account for the total bus current budget. Rated for 15 g shock over 11 ms, the module holds up in applications with moderate vibration, such as conveyor transfer stations or packaging machinery mounted near the line.
