Panel fit and mounting flexibility
The envelope is 205 mm deep, 245 mm wide, and 215 mm tall. IP54 rated, so it handles dust and splashing water in panel environments that aren't fully sealed — think machine-mount cabinets on a factory floor where washdown isn't direct but airborne moisture is present.
Integrated brake control and digital I/O
This starter includes a motor brake output rated for 400 V AC, which means it can directly switch an AC brake coil without an external contactor. Two digital inputs are available on the AS-Interface bus for local pushbuttons or limit switches — saves running separate sensor cables back to the PLC. Control supply is 20.4 to 26.4 V DC, standard for AS-Interface networks. The unit supports AS-Interface protocol natively — no gateway module needed between the starter and the AS-i master.
