The 3RK4320-3BQ51-0BA2: It communicates over AS-Interface (the protocol is supported), so it drops into an AS-i network without a separate fieldbus coupler for the motor starter itself — the two onboard digital inputs handle local sensors or limit switches. The CLASS 10 trip curve means it clears a stalled-rotor condition fast enough to protect the motor winding before the insulation cooks — standard for most general-purpose induction motors up to the rated current.

Panel fit and mounting flexibility

The enclosure measures 245 mm wide by 205 mm deep by 215 mm high — that's a substantial footprint, so check the gland-plate area and DIN-rail clearance before committing the backpanel layout.

Control supply and environmental limits

The control supply voltage is 20.4 to 26.4 V DC — a standard 24 VDC panel supply works, but the 20.4 V floor means a sagging bus below that drops the starter out. Rated IP54, so it's splash-resistant but not washdown-rated — fine for a dry indoor panel or a covered machine cell, not for a food-processing line with direct spray.
