AS-Interface Reversing Starter with Integrated Motor Protection

The Siemens 3RK4320-3CQ54-1BA2 is a SIRIUS MCU motor starter designed as a reversing starter for AS-Interface networks, rated 1 A at AC-3 400 V with CLASS 10 bimetal overload protection. It operates on a 340...440 V main circuit and draws its control supply from 20.4...26.4 V DC, making it a direct fit for 24 V DC control panels with AS-Interface bus communication. The unit includes a motor brake output component and two digital inputs, and its short-circuit protection is designed for use with circuit-breakers.

The IP54 enclosure keeps out dust and splashing water, so it suits control cabinets in industrial halls or enclosed machine cells — not direct washdown zones, but fine for most factory-floor environments.
