Mounting and enclosure — IP54 with multi-axis flexibility
IP54 protection means the unit handles dust and splashing water — suitable for panel-mount in industrial environments where washdown isn't direct, but not for hose-down zones. Dimensions are 205 mm deep, 245 mm wide, and 215 mm tall — account for the depth when planning gland-plate clearance and door swing.
Integrated brake control and digital I/O
Includes a motor brake output at 400 V AC — the starter can directly control a brake coil without an external contactor, saving a DIN-rail slot. Two digital inputs are onboard for local control signals or feedback; the AS-Interface protocol handles the bus communication, with no PROFIBUS or PROFINET on this variant. Short-circuit protection is via circuit-breakers (not fuses), and the unit is rated for up to 80 operating cycles per hour.
