SIRIUS MCU direct starter with AS-Interface — 10 A AC-3 at 400 V
The 3RK4320-3NQ51-0BA3: It communicates over AS-Interface (AS-i) without needing a separate bus coupler or gateway module — the protocol support is onboard, and the 24 V DC control supply (20.4 to 26.4 V) is drawn from the AS-i yellow cable, simplifying the control cabinet wiring for a distributed motor starter cluster. Two digital inputs are integrated into the unit, so local feedback from auxiliary contacts or pushbuttons can be read directly without pulling additional I/O drops on the AS-i bus.
Brake control and mounting flexibility
A motor brake output is built in, switching 400 V AC directly — this saves an external brake contactor and its associated wiring in applications like hoists, conveyors, or machine axes that need a holding brake. The unit mounts on a vertical surface with ±180° rotation possible, and can be tilted forward or backward by ±22.5° — useful when fitting into tight panel layouts or orienting the display and bus connectors for service access. IP54 protection means it is dust-protected and splash-resistant, suitable for indoor control panels in industrial environments — not rated for washdown or outdoor exposure. The ambient operating range of -25 to +50 °C covers unheated plant floors and cabinet interiors near warm machinery without derating at the upper end.
