Active production, AS-Interface reversing starter
The 3RK4320-5DQ61-1BA2: It communicates over AS-Interface, not PROFIBUS or PROFINET, so it fits into an AS-i bus network directly without a gateway module.
It draws its control supply from 20.4 to 26.4 V DC, so it runs off a standard 24 V DC panel supply, and the operating voltage for the main circuit is 340–460 V AC, covering 400 V nominal systems. The IP54 rating means it's protected against dust ingress and splashing water — suitable for installation inside a control cabinet or in a protected location on a machine frame, but not for direct washdown. Mounting is flexible: it can be rotated ±180° on a vertical surface and tilted forward/backward ±22.5°, which helps when fitting into tight panel layouts.
Dimensions and wiring notes
The unit measures 205 mm deep by 290 mm wide by 215 mm high — that footprint is larger than a typical contactor, so check the panel depth before committing. It has 2 digital inputs onboard, which can be used for local start/stop or interlock signals without adding an I/O block. The short-circuit protection is designed for use with circuit breakers, not fuses, so plan the upstream protection accordingly.
