Reversing Starter with Bimetal Overload — 3.2 A AC-3 at 400 V
Rated 3.2 A in AC-3 duty at 400 V, it switches motor loads up to that current under standard starting conditions. The built-in bimetal overload protection is set to Trip Class 10, so it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the thermal setting — appropriate for standard induction motor starts where the rotor is not locked. Operating voltage for the main circuit is 340–440 V AC at 50/60 Hz, and the control supply is 20.4–26.4 V DC. The enclosure is IP55, so the unit is dust-protected and can handle water jets from any direction — suitable for washdown areas or outdoor cabinets where hose-down cleaning is routine.
This reversing starter is designed for vertical mounting surfaces, with ±180° rotation possible on that surface, and can be tilted forward or backward by ±22.5°. That flexibility helps when fitting into tight enclosures or aligning with existing cable entries. The unit measures 182 mm wide by 220 mm high by 145 mm deep — a compact footprint for a reversing starter with integrated overload. No fieldbus communication is onboard (no PROFINET, PROFIBUS, or AS-Interface), so it is controlled via hardwired I/O from a PLC or relay logic.
