The Siemens SIRIUS 3RK4353-3DR58-1BA0 is a reversing motor starter controlled by an MCU on site, designed for three-phase AC motor loads up to 1.25 A in AC-3 duty at 400 V. Housed in an IP55 enclosure, this unit is suitable for washdown environments or outdoor installations where dust and water jets are present.

Integration notes

Two digital inputs are available for forward/reverse commands. Short-circuit protection is integrated via circuit-breakers, and the bimetal overload relay provides motor protection without an external thermal sensor. Dimensions of 145 mm depth, 182 mm width, and 220 mm height fit within standard enclosure layouts. The unit is not fieldbus-capable (no PROFINET, PROFIBUS, or AS-Interface), so control signals are hardwired to the digital inputs.
