What the timer actually does
The 3RP1532-1AP30 is a SIRIUS off-delay time relay — a DIN-rail timer that holds its output closed for an adjustable 1.5... 30 s after the control signal is removed, rather than delaying turn-on. That distinction matters on drop-out sequencing: where an ON-delay waits before a contactor pulls in, this one keeps the coil of a downstream contactor energized through the brief loss of an enable signal. It is not a pulse-shaping, additive ON-delay, or star-delta unit — those functions are separate SIRIUS timer variants, not roles this code serves.
Contact rating and what it drives
The output is rated for a thermal current of 5 A. Recovery time after drop-out is 150 ms, and the minimum ON period is 35 ms — both set the floor on how fast a downstream PLC input can retrigger the sequence.
Panel fit and wiring envelope
The housing is 22.5 mm wide, 102 mm tall, and 91 mm deep — the slim SIRIUS 17.5/22.5 mm pitch footprint that drops into a standard DIN-rail row next to other control relays. Mounting position is unrestricted, so the timer can sit in a vertical section of the cabinet without derating. Operating temperature spans -25... +60 °C in service and -40... +85 °C in transit and storage; the device carries basic insulation and is intended for installation inside an enclosure, not field-exposed mounting.
