The 24 V DC coil is standard for modern PLC-based control panels; it pulls from the same 24 VDC bus that powers the I/O and the CPU. The single change-over (CO) contact gives you one Form C set — common, normally-open, normally-closed. That's enough for a pilot device, a status feedback to the PLC, or to switch a small contactor coil, but not for power loads. If your BOM needs two isolated contacts or a higher switching capacity, you're looking at a different 3RQ4 variant or a 3RH2 contactor relay. The narrow 22.5 mm housing (part of the SIRIUS 3RQ4 family's narrow design) saves DIN-rail space in crowded panels. Stack a row of these and you fit more isolation points per inch than with a full-width relay socket. The packaging dimensions of 95 x 93 x 65 mm give you the shipping box size, but the installed footprint is the standard 22.5 mm module width.
Group code R711 and product group 4950 are internal Siemens classification codes; they don't affect fit or function but are useful for cross-referencing in Siemens' own ordering tools.
