The 0-20 mA input is standard for process transmitters (pressure, flow, level); the 24 V AC/DC supply means it works in both control-transformer and DC-bus panels without a separate power supply variant. Galvanic isolation between input and output means you can break ground loops between the field sensor and the PLC analog input — essential when the sensor is powered from a different supply or runs a long cable run. The 20 mV maximum voltage ripple spec means the internal DC rail is well-filtered — the converter won't couple switching noise into the 4-20 mA loop.
Accepts 1 x (20-14) AWG solid or stranded wire per terminal. Mounting position is any orientation — no derating for horizontal vs vertical placement. Zero clearance required on all sides (upwards, downwards, forwards, backwards, at the side all 0 mm). Single channel, with a rise time of 6 ms — fast enough for process signals, not for high-speed counting. LED indication on the front confirms power/status at a glance during commissioning.
