The Siemens SIRIUS 3RS7005-1KW00 is a single-channel, active, switchable multi-range signal converter. It takes a standard analog input — 0...10 V, 0...20 mA, or 4...20 mA — and converts it to a proportional frequency output selectable among 0...50 Hz, 0...100 Hz, 0...1 kHz, or 0...10 kHz. This makes it the part you reach for when a PLC analog output needs to drive a frequency-sensitive load like a small motor drive, a counter input, or a pulse-rate indicator. The conversion accuracy holds to 0.1 % relative metering precision with a linearity deviation of just 0.05 %. Temperature drift is 0.015 %/°C, so the output stays tight across the -25 to +60 °C operating range. Consumed active power is only 0.34 W — negligible for panel power budgets.
Housing is 17.5 mm wide (one standard DIN-rail module), 93 mm tall, and 72.5 mm deep. Snaps onto the DIN rail with zero clearance required in any direction — upwards, downwards, forwards, backwards, and to the side all allow 0 mm spacing. Mounting position is unrestricted. IP20 protection class means it lives inside a clean, dry enclosure. Connections accept 1 x (20...14) AWG solid wire. A front-panel LED confirms operation and status at a glance.
