The Siemens SIRIUS 3RS7025-1FW00 is a multi-range signal converter — one channel, active, switchable, with a manual/automatic mode selector and a setting potentiometer on the front. It accepts a 24 to 240 VAC/DC supply and converts between standard process signals: 0–10 V, 0–20 mA, or 4–20 mA on both input and output sides. The LED display gives you a quick visual on channel status, which helps during commissioning or line-down troubleshooting.
Snap-on mounting onto a standard 35 mm DIN rail — 17.5 mm wide, 93 mm tall, 75 mm deep. That's a single-module footprint, so it won't eat up panel space on a crowded rail. IP20 protection means it's for inside a clean, dry enclosure — no washdown or outdoor exposure.
The input and output both cover 0–10 V, 0–20 mA, and 4–20 mA — that's the three most common analog signal ranges in industrial control. The 4–20 mA loop is the workhorse for long-distance field transmitters; 0–10 V is typical for local panel signals. The converter is galvanically isolated between input and output, which kills ground-loop noise that can drift a PLC analog card. Supply ripple must stay under 20 mV — clean DC is expected, so don't feed it from an unfiltered switching supply.
