SIRIUS S00 power contactor – 24 VAC coil, screw terminals
The Siemens 3RT1015-1AB01-0KY0 is a SIRIUS S00-frame power contactor with a 24 V 50/60 Hz coil, rated for 10 A maximum operating current in AC-12 duty.
Switching ratings and load types
AC-2 motor switching at 400 V is rated for 3 kW; AC-4 reversing/inching duty at 400 V carries 6.5 A. For resistive loads at 690 V it handles 4 kW, and at 500 V it switches 3.5 kW. DC switching covers 10 A at 24 V, 2 A at 60 V, 1 A at 110 V, 0.3 A at 220 V, and 6 A at 230 V AC. These are the values that govern the real motor or heater load — not the AC-12 maximum alone.
The 45 mm wide body sits on standard 35 mm DIN rail, with a depth of 72 mm and height of 57.5 mm — that's a compact S00 footprint that leaves room for auxiliary contact blocks on the side.
Termination and short-circuit protection
Screw terminals accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or up to 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²) — solid or stranded. For AWG, they take 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), or 1x 12. Short-circuit coordination: Type 1 requires a 35 A gL/gG fuse; Type 2 needs a 20 A gL/gG fuse. The front and terminals carry IP20 finger-safe protection.
