The contactor is rated for AC-2 and AC-4 duty at 400 V, delivering 3 kW and 6.5 A respectively, so it handles moderate motor switching with occasional inrush.
Mounting and integration details
Screw terminals accept solid or stranded wire: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²), 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or max 2x (0.75 to 4 mm²). For AWG, that's 2x (20 to 16), 2x (18 to 14), or 1x 12. Depth is 72 mm.
For type 2 coordination (contactor remains operational after a fault), use gL/gG 20 A. These ratings let the panel designer size upstream protection without guesswork. IP20 on the front and terminals means finger-safe against accidental contact, but not sealed against dust ingress — mount inside an enclosure for anything beyond clean dry locations.
The SIRIUS series is widely specified across European and North American panels, so documentation including RoHS compliance (substance prohibition date 01.07.2006) and IEC 81346-2 reference code Q is available with the shipment.
