It carries a 10 A rated value at 24 V and delivers 3 kW at AC-2 duty on a 400 V line, or 6.5 A at AC-4 for reversing or inching applications. The 4 kW rating at 690 V covers higher-voltage motor circuits common in European industrial installations.
Mounting and termination
Both the main current circuit and auxiliary/control circuit use spring-loaded terminals, accepting 2x (0.25 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire. Side-by-side mounting is supported without derating, which keeps panel layouts tight.
The AC-4 rating of 6.5 A at 400 V governs plugging and inching duty — the most demanding switching cycle for a contactor. For resistive loads, the AC-12 rating of 10 A is the limit. Mechanical endurance is 30 million operations, so it outlasts most panel builds.
Short-circuit coordination
For type 1 coordination (the contactor may need replacement after a fault), the fuse can be 35 A. This matters when specifying upstream protection for a motor starter combination.
