The spring-loaded terminals (2x 0.25–2.5 mm² solid/stranded, or 2x 24–14 AWG) accept ferruled or bare wire without re-torquing, so it's a fit for high-vibration environments where screw terminals can back off — crusher and conveyor panels, for instance, where the machine shakes everything loose.
Switching capacity and motor power
This contactor's switching capacity scales with the load voltage: 10 A at 24 V, 6 A at 230 V, 3 A at 400 V, and it handles up to 4 kW at 690 V. For motor duty, it's rated 3 kW at 400 V in AC-2 (slip-ring motors, elevators) and 6.5 A in AC-4 (plugging, inching, reversing). The AC-12 maximum operating current is 10 A, covering resistive and light inductive loads.
The front and terminal areas are IP20, meaning finger-safe but not washdown-rated; keep it inside a sealed enclosure if there's dust or moisture. Side-by-side mounting is allowed with a 6 mm gap on the side for cooling.
