It uses spring-loaded terminals on the main current circuit, accepting solid or stranded wire 2x (0.25... 2.5 mm²) or 2x (24... 14 AWG). Rated for a 24 VDC coil that draws 2.3 W closing and holding, so the coil driver sees a steady load — no inrush spike to size a power supply around. The diode suppression is built in, which saves a separate flyback diode on the panel layout.
The contactor is rated for motor switching: 3.5 kW at 500 V and 4 kW at 690 V. In AC-2 duty (slip-ring motor starting) it carries 3 kW at 400 V; in AC-4 duty (plugging/inching) it handles 6.5 A at 400 V. Those AC-4 numbers matter if the load cycles reversing or jogging — the contactor is sized for that, not just across-the-line starts. Auxiliary contact ratings span 10 A at 24 V down to 0.3 A at 220 V and 6 A at 230 V — covers 24 VDC control circuits and 230 VAC signal loads.
Mounting and integration details
Side-by-side mounting is allowed — no gap needed between contactors — so you can pack multiple units across the rail. Depth is 73 mm, height 60 mm, width 45 mm. Clearance of 6 mm at the side is the minimum to adjacent components for heat dissipation. Maximum altitude 2 000 m without derating. Front and terminal IP20 — safe for finger contact inside a closed panel.
